Excellent spot! Beautiful surroundings and place is exactly as described. All new amenities and some lovely added touches like the coal for the fire (would’ve been great in winter) and the fairy lights décor. Our friends were getting married at East Mersea Hall which is walking distance from this shepherd’s hut.
My only caveat is to ensure you check in during the daytime. Finding this place at dusk wasn’t super easy but we got there a few phone torches later 😊 All in all a great stay and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone else wanting to stay in the area. Thank you!
