Mersea Barns is situated in the middle of Mersea Island so is in a great location if you want to stretch your legs and enjoy the countryside and coast.
The path round round Mersea Island is now part of the King Charles III England Coast Path. It takes 4-5 hours to walk round the island but there are plenty of shorter options if you want to get out and about.
